After 3 minutes, Higinio Valiente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorgory and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Gorgory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Valiente to maneuver through the defense. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Orlan having to interfere. Abel Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gorgory's Abel Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 15th minute of play. Oscar Arevalo had several of the Netherlands's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Arnout Reekers as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 23rd minute, Agustín Ramis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Higinio Valiente sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Gorgory's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Abel Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Arevalo made a kick off. After some careless play in the Gorgory defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Orlan. The Gorgory fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Orlan should have stopped the shot. Higinio Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Ecobescu in the 57th minute of play. Abel Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Abel Orlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Arevalo in the 67th minute of play. Gorgory made a substitution. Cipriano Fresco replaced Oscar Arevalo. Gorgory were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Donatello Caseres took the corner. Basilio Cordairo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gorgory fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Abel Orlan, was totally fooled by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who 77 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Abel Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 82nd minute of play. Abel Orlan was a little too slow when Wim Wilmes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-4. 88 minutes into the game, Benigno Tono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gorgory's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. Abel Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Wim Wilmes scored 1-5 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Orlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Ecobescu in the 94th minute of play. Benigno Tono kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Netherlands played a much better game than Gorgory and deserved their victory. The Gorgory players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
