Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Marlin FC's Marcelino Baumer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Marlin FC's Casper Claes threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yin Yang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 8th minute of the match Marlin FC got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isidoro Urko ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marlin FC's Isidoro Urko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Casper Claes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 12th minute Yin Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 23rd minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Janpier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Yin Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yin Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybek Orcun in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nigel Devos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Urko in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Marlin FC made a substitution. Dionisio Panpili replaced Marcelino Baumer. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Vanderstraeten made a kick off. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Anastasio Janpier made a huge save. 1-0 became the score in the 69th minute when Yin Yang elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marlin FC's Ismael Iglesias was substituted for Luiz Fábio das Neves. Yin Yang kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlin FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Janpier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 1-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anastasio Janpier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Ciano hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlin FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Janpier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Belgium eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
