In the 6th minute of the game, Romeo Cresenciano landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 6 minutes, Antal Valentin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the Club Atletico Fenix players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Santiago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Fenix's goalkeeper Anders Larsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee ignored Club Atletico Fenix's protests and gave Aldo Otoniel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when Club Atletico Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Otoniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Hungary's Major Barna in the 33rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Anders Larsson was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Club Atletico Fenix through an amazing save. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Olentzaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Club Atletico Fenix's Anders Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 50th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Larsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th match minute, Club Atletico Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Hibai to maneuver through the defense. Hungary were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
