Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Vladimir Kramnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Kramnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute FC Maci -MM- were awarded a corner. Rudolf Dombi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Maci -MM-'s Igor Czapski to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Sami Zübeyr came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the FC Maci -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sami Zübeyr couldn't finish the play. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 15th minute. Vladimir Kramnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimir Kramnik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimir Kramnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 38th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Vladimir Kramnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Kramnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Portugal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sami Zübeyr fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Önder Wing hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bruno Bastos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 47th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sami Zübeyr to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Faustino Almeida got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Sami Zübeyr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sami Zübeyr might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sami Zübeyr ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Maci -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rudolf Dombi in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Vladimir Kramnik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. FC Maci -MM-'s Emanuel Petruescu was substituted for Rich Bastard. After 70 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Dombi. If Felipinho Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Vladimir Kramnik made a huge save. Felipinho Amorims short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Vladimir Kramnik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vladimir Kramnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 78th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Miclauș. FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 85th minute of play. Sabin Miclauș hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Sami Zübeyr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Vladimir Kramnik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolomeu Dias. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Maci -MM- fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
