Árpád Kerekes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 6th minute. Hungary's Vörös Henrik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Árpád Kerekes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Árpád Kerekes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 10th minute of the match. Puja SE's Árpád Kerekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 13th minute of play. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 32 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Árpád Kerekes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Árpád Kerekes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 35th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestrs Zupenieks in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 40th minute of play forced Puja SE's goalkeeper Árpád Kerekes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Beremundo Turrilla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel, 2-1.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Balazs Lajos got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwidon Brak charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gwidon Brak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gwidon Brak hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Antal Valentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Árpád Kerekes was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After 58 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Árpád Kerekes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestrs Zupenieks in the 61st minute of play. Árpád Kerekes made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Takacs Tibor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Árpád Kerekes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Árpád Kerekes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Puja SE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
