Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dé Baron came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Croatia's Damir Pongrac. But to his dismay, Damir Pongrac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 9th match minute, NFC Eagles 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurits Apotheker to maneuver through the defense. Karsten Saelman lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for NFC Eagles 22! Damir Pongrac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dé Baron made a huge save. In the 22nd minute of the match, Toni Mauzer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dé Baron saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, NFC Eagles 22's Dé Baron got control of the ball when Damir Pongrac tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dé Baron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damir Pongrac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Baron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Damir Pongrac took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dé Baron. Dé Baron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Dé Baron made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Toni Mauzer sent off a good shot on target. Dé Baron was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Neven Culina capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Neven Culina really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. 45 minutes into the game, Croatia's Dinko Stankovic nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dé Baron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Mauzer came free, but Dé Baron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dé Baron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Bosak in the 53rd minute of the match. Dé Baron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damir Pongrac in the 58th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Eduard Kostelac in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by NFC Eagles 22's Maurits Apotheker. Dé Baron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Mauzer in the 64th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Toni Mauzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Baron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dé Baron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Dé Baron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Bosak went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. NFC Eagles 22's Dé Baron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Mauzer in the 94th minute of play. Croatia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
