Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 3rd minute of play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guga Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 11th minute of play forced Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balazs Lajos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guga Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 19th minute of play forced Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Guga Tavares. Mexilhão F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Takacs Tibor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Guga Tavares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27thth minute of the game Tony Angelsø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Balazs Lajos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guga Tavares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Guga Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balazs Lajos in the 35th minute of play forced Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Guga Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldinho Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edson Recife. Arvin Larsson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Antal Valentin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Tony Angelsø made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guga Tavares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexilhão F. C. from getting a goal against them. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Angelsø in the 65th minute of play. Tony Angelsø scored 1-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edson Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Guga Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 79th minute. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Angelsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Guga Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guga Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Hungary's Antal Valentin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guga Tavares. Guga Tavares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. If Germano Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary played a much better game than Mexilhão F. C. and deserved their victory. The Mexilhão F. C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
