Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) SK Annenieki's Artūrs Sagalats started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Jānis Lielais however easily saved by the left post. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after SK Annenieki's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. 9 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hegedus Henrik. Takacs Tibor struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Jānis Lielais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jāzeps Pics in the 18th minute of play. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jānis Lielais having to make a save. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Antal Valentin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jānis Lielais. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jāzeps Pics in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Major Barna got a free kick in the 35th minute. Antal Valentin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Jānis Lielais when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jānis Lielais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Artūrs Sagalats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jānis Lielais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 41st minute. After 42 minutes SK Annenieki's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Takacs Tibor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jānis Lielais quite easily take care of the ball. In the 44th match minute, SK Annenieki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renāts Skipors to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artūrs Sagalats in the 46th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. In the 50th minute Reinholds Jaunzems shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renāts Skipors kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jānis Lielais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 58 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Jānis Lielais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indris Tomass in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Jānis Lielais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Vilis Lettlands shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jānis Lielais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, SK Annenieki's Ingus Rencis got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
