David Stockdale had great luck who in the 14thth minute grab hold of the ball when Per-Åke Vedholm from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Janne Oblak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vassilis Lazarakis's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute GREEK ARMY were awarded a corner. Antonis Nikopolidis went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 27th minute LeicestersKickers were awarded a corner. Rigoberto Paredes went to the cornerflag to take it. Urban Finnman made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kiki Monginsidi however managed to control. David Stockdale made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when John Kellbom sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Ivar Forsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Antonis Nikopolidis got a free kick in the 48th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Kellbom to strike the kick off in the second half. LeicestersKickers's John Kellbom got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. LeicestersKickers made a substitution. The supporters of LeicestersKickers booed when GREEK ARMY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofoklis Kolomitrousis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urban Finnman hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Grigoris Karagiotakis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 85th minute, Grigoris Karagiotakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kiki Monginsidi came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the LeicestersKickers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiki Monginsidi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Lazarakis in the 90th minute of play forced LeicestersKickers's goalkeeper Janne Oblak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LeicestersKickers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
