The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito Ignado got free with Janne Oblak in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Janne Oblak made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Hermengildo Maura sent off a good shot on target. Russ Schultz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Kellbom's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the match, LeicestersKickers's goalkeeper Janne Oblak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hipolito Ignado. When Pablo Txaran fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chupingo el Pame's protests and gave Pablo Txaran a yellow card for diving instead. Chupingo el Pame's Hipolito Ignado got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. John Kellbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 played minutes LeicestersKickers got a freekick which was hit by André Zander. The supporters of Chupingo el Pame booed when LeicestersKickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Engman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Maura to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Kellbom in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Russ Schultz saved Chupingo el Pame from getting behind. LeicestersKickers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rigoberto Paredes in the 52nd minute. Kiki Monginsidi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Russ Schultz having to make a save. John Kellbom might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Russ Schultz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Kellbom ran back to his position shaking his head. LeicestersKickers's Janne Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Maura in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of LeicestersKickers booed when Chupingo el Pame was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Txaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, John Kellbom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Russ Schultz. Chupingo el Pame's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Kellbom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Janne Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Maura in the 73rd minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Hermengildo Maura got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Janne Oblak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. John Kellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes, Sixto Maureo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chupingo el Pame and the LeicestersKickers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chupingo el Pame getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sixto Maureo hit a great ball. In the 80th minute John Kellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russ Schultz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Macho Mann managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 89th minute Hermengildo Maura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janne Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes LeicestersKickers got a freekick which was hit by André Zander. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LeicestersKickers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
