Russ Schultz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Dahlman in the 19th minute of play. Hipolito Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Viktor Kjellman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Russ Schultz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Lundin in the 24th minute. Chupingo el Pame's Gaudencio Oalo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaudencio Oalo got in the 54th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Viktor Kjellman. This was a shot which ended in a score of 2-1. When Sven-Erik Sandström fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gnaget AIK's protests and gave Sven-Erik Sandström a yellow card for diving instead. Gnaget AIK's Martin Axelsson was substituted for Sven-Erik Sandström. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chupingo el Pame players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
