With a little luck, LeicestersKickers's Janne Oblak got control of the ball when Claudio Antonangeli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Janne Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Townsley in the 6th minute of play. Nikola Tesla made a great header on The Handsome Wizards UTD's corner, it was just that LeicestersKickers's Janne Oblak managed to reach the ball for a save. If Claudio Antonangeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Kellbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Cisquella having to make a save. In the 16th minute CJ Townsley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janne Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, LeicestersKickers's John Kellbom made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Cisquella was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the LeicestersKickers defense, Claudio Antonangeli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Janne Oblak. The LeicestersKickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Janne Oblak should have stopped the shot. John Kellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Marcial Cisquella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, LeicestersKickers's goalkeeper Janne Oblak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Antonangeli. 46 minutes into the match, Claudio Antonangeli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Janne Oblak. LeicestersKickers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Antonangeli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Kellbom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alistair Cross hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Paredes in the 52nd minute of play forced The Handsome Wizards UTD's goalkeeper Marcial Cisquella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Kellbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Cisquella having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in The Handsome Wizards UTD's zone, John Kellbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Cisquella came out of the goal and John Kellbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Janne Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Townsley in the 66th minute of play. In the 78th minute, André Zander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, LeicestersKickers's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Antonangeli came free, but Janne Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Claudio Antonangeli made a precise shot to the right of Janne Oblak. LeicestersKickers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 86th minute, Per-Åke Vedholm made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Cisquella. The Handsome Wizards UTD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. CJ Townsley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LeicestersKickers's Per-Åke Vedholm got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alistair Cross kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Many of LeicestersKickers's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. LeicestersKickers may have spent more time on the ball, but The Handsome Wizards UTD were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
