But to his dismay, Lambis Kazantzakoglou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. GREEK ARMY's attentive Vlassis Mellios managed to snatch the ball when Zoltán Vásárhelyi made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Styrbjörn Stokken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Jităreanu in the 18th minute of the match. With a little luck, STORM CORNER F.C.'s Kaan Winter got control of the ball when Lambis Kazantzakoglou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reinhold Artmaier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Styrbjörn Stokken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of GREEK ARMY booed when STORM CORNER F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Ladron didn't get a good kick on the ball. GREEK ARMY's Styrbjörn Stokken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krisztián Lisztes in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Ionuț Jităreanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Styrbjörn Stokken. GREEK ARMY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionuț Jităreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Krisztián Lisztes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Vrasidas Drambas got a free kick in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Styrbjörn Stokken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Jităreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute.
