Gnaget AIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Rovesco the free kick. Atlético Rovesco's Armando Casomiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Wall in the 8th minute of play. Armando Casomiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Višňovský, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Erling Odén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Atlético Rovesco getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Celedonio Bixintxo hit a great ball. Herbert Lång could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Armando Casomiro made a huge save. Atlético Rovesco's Armando Casomiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Rovesco from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Rovesco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martin Višňovský was slow to take the kick. During this time Gnaget AIK's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Axel Biörk advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 20th minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig-Åke Wall to make the kick off. Armando Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Wall in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Wall in the 53rd minute of play forced Atlético Rovesco's goalkeeper Armando Casomiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erling Odén was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. But to his dismay, Herbert Lång quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gnaget AIK made a substitution. Alvin Carlsson replaced Herbert Lång. After 86 minutes, Dalmacio Nabar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Rovesco and the Gnaget AIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Atlético Rovesco got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Nabar. Armando Casomiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvin Carlsson's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Atlético Rovesco's Armando Casomiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Carlsson in the 93rd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atlético Rovesco players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gnaget AIK.
