After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Andrés Cuervo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Andrés Cuervo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Viriato Moura hit a great ball. After 7 played minutes, ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪'s Ignacio Frederico shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilson Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪ reached it. In the 17th minute, Generoso Oliverios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Felipe Barreto scored to the left of an out of position Anastasio Bibiano, making the score, 1-0. Faustino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪'s Anastasio Bibiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪ from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viriato Moura got free with Anastasio Bibiano in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anastasio Bibiano made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Viriato Moura sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Pimentel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anastasio Bibiano. That made the score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. Portugal's Graciano Coutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Mederi to strike the kick off in the second half. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bartolomeu Dias scored 6-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anastasio Bibiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Portugal's Graciano Coutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Portugal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
