The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the game, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramadan Sokoli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Aykutalp Başat with Bashkim Cekaj as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Metod Mlynar might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramadan Sokoli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Metod Mlynar ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Metod Mlynar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramadan Sokoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henrich Slany was a little too slow when Gjøran Kvale got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Enerik Sadikllari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramadan Sokoli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ramadan Sokoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Suchy in the 41st minute of play. Oliver Holub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramadan Sokoli having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Enerik Sadikllari came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Holub to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Metod Mlynar to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Vít Biskup hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Gjøran Kvale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Gjøran Kvale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes of play, Autochthonous's Gjøran Kvale made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrich Slany was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Gjøran Kvale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrich Slany was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gjøran Kvale in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrich Slany prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 67 minutes, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metod Mlynar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gjøran Kvale in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. In the 76th minute, Metod Mlynar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Oliver Holub hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gjøran Kvale in the 85th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Metod Mlynar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramadan Sokoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Autochthonous's Ramadan Sokoli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Autochthonous from getting a goal against them. After having played for 96 minutes, Daniel Suchy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Suchy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Slovakia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Autochthonous.
