In the 34th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbasa Jofre was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Elian in the 37th minute of play. William Dahlqvist struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ...ASGARD.... The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Urbasa Jofre. That made the score 1-4 in the 79 minute of play. Lars Meesters hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
