Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oliver Bierhoff kicked off to start the match. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Bierhoff went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Leme in the 8th minute of the match. Jeremias Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Cutri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Sigfrido Auletta could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Jeremias Moreno however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigfrido Auletta got free with Jeremias Moreno in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Malcolm Westerberg in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Zena Busacca. Jeremias Moreno had great luck who in the 23rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 28 minutes into the game, Oliver Bierhoff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Flavio Vittori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Italy's attentive Eliseo Cutri managed to snatch the ball when Malcolm Westerberg made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Jeremias Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Oliver Bierhoff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADM Taquaras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. ADM Taquaras's Áron Bódog was substituted for Wágner Leme. When Oliver Bierhoff came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the ADM Taquaras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Bierhoff couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Jeremias Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ADM Taquaras's Enio Aparecido was substituted for Oliver Bierhoff. 73 minutes into the game, Malcolm Westerberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 74th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. The corner led Italy's Eliseo Cutri to fire away a dangerous shot which Jeremias Moreno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guiscardo Davide in the 94th minute of play.
