The supporters of Germany booed when Victorious Secret was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Källberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Håkansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Håkansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Helge Rudqvist sent off a good shot on target. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvar Berggren in the 25th minute of play. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Victor Kock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Victorious Secret booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helge Rudqvist was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 37th minute, Albin Holweck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Kock was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 47th minute of play forced Victorious Secret's goalkeeper Victor Kock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell-Arne Tidén to strike the kick off in the second half. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Håkansson came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Kjell-Arne Tidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Tidén in the 63rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell-Arne Dahlbom during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Victorious Secret was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Dahlbom to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Victorious Secret's zone, Adrian Dreifuss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Kock came out of the goal and Adrian Dreifuss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Rudqvist in the 77th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Chris Mergenthaler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Mergenthaler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Kock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball.
