With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brayden McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paşa Selim was slow to take the kick. During this time Emotep SK's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Sander Dermaut got a free kick in the 13th minute. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Emotep SK's Ryan Giggs. But to his dismay, Ryan Giggs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 24th minute, Yves Dervaux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernanco Muslera having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernanco Muslera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. Brayden McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Vanderstraeten in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernanco Muslera saved Emotep SK from getting behind. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağrı Ünveren in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Narūnas Vaičekauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sezen Erencan kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Fernanco Muslera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Emotep SK's Şeray Hepyener was substituted for Sezen Erencan. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brayden McPaul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Emotep SK were awarded a corner. Paşa Selim went to the cornerflag to take it. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernanco Muslera. Fernanco Muslera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 87thth minute of the game Edward Vanderstraeten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emotep SK's Fernanco Muslera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernanco Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 89th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Belgium fans cheered their team off the field, for while Emotep SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
