Martin Jax was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. GERLIROJO Ψ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Martin Jax kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th match minute, GERLIROJO Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Erroman to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the game Faustino Almeida made a throw-in which Daniel Pimentel played forward. After 20 played minutes GERLIROJO Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Justo Erroman. Juan Morata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Martin Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, GERLIROJO Ψ's Wilson Amorim threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martin Jax, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Juan Morata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 27th minute of the match. Aquilino Ihintza hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Jax in the 33rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 34th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Juan Morata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GERLIROJO Ψ's Justo Erroman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daniel Pimentel, made in the 35th minute of the game. The supporters of GERLIROJO Ψ booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Jax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvio Ferrer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elvio Ferrer who took care of the corner kick. In the 42nd minute, Felipe Barreto made a precise shot to the right of Juan Morata. GERLIROJO Ψ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Ferrer in the 51st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Juan Morata threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caetano Moreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 57 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Morata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viriato Mouras short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Juan Morata to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Juan Morata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 59th minute of play. Martin Jax struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GERLIROJO Ψ. GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez was substituted for Martin Jax. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Morata saved GERLIROJO Ψ from getting behind. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal's Bruno Bastos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ermegildo Chap in the 69 minute of the game. With a little luck, GERLIROJO Ψ's Juan Morata got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Felipinho Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Morata was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 80th match minute, GERLIROJO Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Erroman to maneuver through the defense. Juan Morata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Pimentel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Morata quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Felipinho Amorim in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juan Morata, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Ibañez in the 86th minute of play. Justo Erroman hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez. But to his dismay, Epifanio Ibañez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
