Bozkurt were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Philippe Albert took the corner. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Bas Tuitert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nizam Şafak. Bozkurt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bas Tuitert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 38 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gust Ennemans. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when İnanç İrem put in a rough tackle. Nizam Şafak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Bozkurt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 44 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 57th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Nizam Şafak. Bozkurt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 59 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Nizam Şafak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Bozkurt's Nizam Şafak got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nizam Şafak made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Bozkurt's Mustafa Hakan Sufi was substituted for Kai Havertz. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Emrullah Erboy kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Mustafa Hakan Sufi put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Arnout Reekers. In the 92ndth minute of the game Mustafa Hakan Sufi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Hakan Sufi, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bozkurt's Mustafa Hakan Sufi. But to his dismay, Mustafa Hakan Sufi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Despite being the better team, Netherlands failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
