Yunus-Emre Balcik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costica Vladimiri, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute Romania were awarded a corner. Adam Olaru went to the cornerflag to take it. Morten Langørgen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd match minute, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Barber to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yunus-Emre Balcik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yunus-Emre Balcik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Olaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romania's Costica Vladimiri got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Carol Stinga managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's İrfan Altıncığlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rasvan Cristescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yunus-Emre Balcik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Yunus-Emre Balcik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Serban in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers İrfan Altıncığlu in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carol Stinga saved Romania from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İrfan Altıncığlu in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carol Stinga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adam Olaru was slow to take the kick. During this time Romania's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Romania's corner Adam Olaru fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yunus-Emre Balcik quite easily take care of the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Franc Debuire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Romania's Carol Stinga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romania's Anton Stinga was substituted for Adam Olaru. In the 66th minute Osmanlı İmparatorluğu were awarded a corner. Franc Debuire went to the cornerflag to take it. Octavian Vaduva's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Yunus-Emre Balcik firmly grabbed it by the left post.
