Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven Vollander in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrullah İrfanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoro Soto in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Sven Vollander notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrullah İrfanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 16th minute of the match. Carno FK's Hayrullah İrfanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Sven Vollander tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 22 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Raul Caetano. A hard shot by Şenel Rafet from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Wilson Amorim's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Nurettin Tun hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by İdris Akgün in the 30 minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Rodolfo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Şenel Rafet. After 37 played minutes Carno FK got a freekick which was hit by Porfirio Olarte. Carno FK's Hayrullah İrfanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Carno FK's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Hayrullah İrfanoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carno FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Şenel Rafet in the 52nd minute. Şenel Rafet made a great header on Carno FK's corner, it was just that Portugal's Wilson Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. A hard shot 55 in the game by Felipe Barreto from a close distance when the talented Hayrullah İrfanoğlu managed to make a qualified save. Carno FK's players were relieved. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Barreto came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hayrullah İrfanoğlu could save by the left post. The supporters of Carno FK booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Daniel Pimentel hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Porfirio Olarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carno FK's Hayrullah İrfanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 76th minute of play. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Felipinho Amorim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipinho Amorim really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Carno FK made a substitution. Alper Beyhan replaced Cameron Pruett.
