Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damazy Polek's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Damazy Polek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Polek in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cornel Braniște who took care of the corner kick. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Polek in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Damazy Polek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Borja Yebra fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZ Wodzisław Śląski's protests and gave Borja Yebra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when MZ Wodzisław Śląski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borja Yebra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaroslaw Siedlecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 25th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jaroslaw Siedlecki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damazy Polek's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Damazy Polek had several of the Hungary's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Fodor Daniel as he didn't even see the shot coming. 33 minutes into the match, Damazy Polek notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jaroslaw Siedlecki came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Jaroslaw Siedlecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 43rd minute of play. Jaroslaw Siedlecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The MZ Wodzisław Śląski fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Damazy Polek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Polek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cornel Braniște in the 59th minute. The corner led MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Cornel Braniște to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jaroslaw Siedlecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Damazy Polek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pawel Karanowski during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Pawel Karanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jaroslaw Siedlecki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Major Barna scored 3-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaroslaw Siedlecki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damazy Polek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
