The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliazar Ungia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. 60 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian de Lima came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvino Domingo could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian de Lima in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. MetalGarurumon F.C's Tadeu Afonso managed to work through Netherlands's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tadeu Afonso dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 73rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silvino Domingo quite easily take care of the ball. Silvino Domingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 77th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvino Domingo. That made the score 1-2 in the 98 minute of play. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
