In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th minute of the match Bozkurt got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Philippe Albert ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bakos Endre kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Kai Havertz struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bozkurt. Kai Havertz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nizam Şafak having to interfere. Ferdi Kadıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kai Havertz in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Nizam Şafak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Nizam Şafak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Emrullah Erboy spun around in front of the goal 80 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Hungary's goal. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Hakan Sufi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emrullah Erboy in the 88th minute of the match. Ferdi Kadıoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdi Kadıoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Bozkurt got a freekick which was hit by Ferdi Kadıoğlu. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emrullah Erboy in the 94th minute of play. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Bozkurt were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
