With a little luck, Jämjö IFK's Dan Bergstedt got control of the ball when Erik Jilek tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Flinck in the 36th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Flinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Jilek in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Bergstedt saved Jämjö IFK from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Erik Jilek made the kick off in the second half. Dan Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Rezek in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute Erik Jilek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Bergstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calle Gregersson charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calle Gregersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Jämjö IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Gregersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, David Rusil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Bergstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Jilek, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Jämjö IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Rezek came free, but Dan Bergstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Jämjö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Hedling to maneuver through the defense. Dan Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Jilek in the 67th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Erik Jilek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dan Bergstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erik Jilek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 played minutes Jämjö IFK got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Hedling. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Czech Republic were victorious despite being under pressure from Jämjö IFK for much of the match.
