After 21 minutes, Gomberto Picozzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Italy and the Altermundi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gomberto Picozzi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Diego Renard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Diego Renard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Renard in the 32nd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Candido Piedra. Zaccheo Andolina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Renard in the 38th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Pedro Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Altermundi FC from getting a goal against them. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Candido Piedra made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. Italy's Porziano Marchitelli got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Italy's Gomberto Picozzi got a free kick in the 64th minute. Candido Piedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Visen Allu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Visen Allu made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Italy's Flavio Vittori tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Candido Piedra narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
