Frodo Moya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. When Hungary's Antal Valentin in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mazinger FC's goalie prevented a goal. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Zdzislaw Golob didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Zdzislaw Golob stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zdzislaw Golob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hungary booed when Mazinger FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Tucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zdzislaw Golob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Golob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdzislaw Golob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Zdzislaw Golob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 39th minute of the match. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Golob having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Golob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mazinger FC's Zdzislaw Golob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Frodo Moya made the kick off in the second half. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Mazinger FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Nagoi Mendez hit a great ball. Antal Valentin charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antal Valentin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Antal Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frodo Moya in the 60th minute of play. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Mazinger FC's Frodo Moya. But to his dismay, Frodo Moya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 63 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zdzislaw Golob narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Golob made a huge save. In the 79th minute Balazs Lajos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Golob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdzislaw Golob made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 80th minute. 2-1 became the score in the 82nd minute when Lisa Katt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Frodo Moya sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel.
