But to his dismay, Tahsin Elçioğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tahsin Elçioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The corner led Kropotkins pojkar's Peder Lidström to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kropotkins pojkar. The supporters of Kropotkins pojkar booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Clocheret didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tahsin Elçioğlu in the 95th minute of the match.
