Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the A Sandvig G defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wictor Maiborg. The A Sandvig G fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wictor Maiborg should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Wictor Maiborg. A Sandvig G's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some careless play in the A Sandvig G defense, Yves Dervaux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wictor Maiborg. The A Sandvig G fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wictor Maiborg should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Belgium booed when A Sandvig G was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balthazar Kokkedal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Yves Dervaux got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wictor Maiborg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Belgium's Nigel Devos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leo Gorell, made in the 58th minute of the game. Wictor Maiborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Sander Dermaut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Wictor Maiborg made a huge save. When the match was over Belgium could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than A Sandvig G throughout the match.
