After taking down the ball on 宁夏回族菜鸟队's corner 孟源昂 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hias Nüssli quite easily take care of the ball. In the 14th minute of the match, Samuele Kunz got a very nice opportunity to score, but 韩阳升 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 马鹏云's late challenge caught a Switzerland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 马鹏云 helped the player get up and apologised. Switzerland's attentive Timo Siegmund managed to snatch the ball when 马鹏云 made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the game, Timo Siegmund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Switzerland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 宁夏回族菜鸟队 the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timo Siegmund to maneuver through the defense. Switzerland's Samuele Kunz got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, 宁夏回族菜鸟队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 张寒震 to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Rodrigo von Känel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 韩阳升 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, 宁夏回族菜鸟队's goal looked a bit too open when Levi von Herren came free, but 韩阳升 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 胡鹰益 in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when 胡鹰益 came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 58th minute, Samuele Kunz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Maurer in the 62nd minute of play forced 宁夏回族菜鸟队's goalkeeper 韩阳升 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. 韩阳升 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 齐斐帆 hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 韩阳升 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Maurer, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Switzerland's attentive Timo Siegmund managed to snatch the ball when 马鹏云 made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. After 75 played minutes 宁夏回族菜鸟队 got a freekick which was hit by 齐斐帆. When Samuele Kunz came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Switzerland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuele Kunz couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 孟源昂 during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute Rodrigo von Känel suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When 齐斐帆 fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 宁夏回族菜鸟队's protests and gave 齐斐帆 a yellow card for diving instead. Switzerland's Jürg von Ballmoos was substituted for Rodrigo von Känel. 齐斐帆 kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Samuele Kunz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 韩阳升 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Iseli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as 胡鹰益 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hias Nüssli. That made the score 0-2 in the 88 minute of play. After 95 played minutes, Switzerland's Jürg von Ballmoos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 韩阳升 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Switzerland reached it. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Hias Nüssli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Although Switzerland had been in control for most of the match, 宁夏回族菜鸟队 still came away with the win.
