In the 21st minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Pontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Club do Inrrá's Alex Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 24th minute of play. Club do Inrrá's Cícero Barral managed to work through Hungary's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cícero Barral dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Alex Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Barral in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero Barral in the 80th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club do Inrrá's Bæringur Gylfason got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Danilo Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club do Inrrá's protests and gave Danilo Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. Cícero Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club do Inrrá succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hungary had controlled the match.
