In the 13th minute, Fred Nilsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Neron Veterini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Neron Veterini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 22 in the game by Fred Nilsson from a close distance when the talented Wilson Amorim managed to make a qualified save. Portugal's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Fred Nilsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute, Fred Nilsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 2-0. Jake Leonard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. In the 41stth minute of the game Felipe Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Serafin Elizardo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Jake Leonard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Gustafsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jake Leonard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Neron Veterini went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Mihnea Terzian kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Jake Leonard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Felipe Barretos short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Jake Leonard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 63 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Neron Veterini came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neron Veterini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Neron Veterini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 77 played minutes, WINNING ELEVEN's Fulgencio Xabel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilson Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in WINNING ELEVEN reached it. In the 78th minute Neron Veterini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Jake Leonard threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caetano Moreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jake Leonard was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipinho Amorim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 84 minute of play. Felipinho Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jake Leonard having to make a save. Jake Leonard made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Felipinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Nilsson's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Nilsson in the 95th minute of play.
