Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Maxim Tsigalko came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Samurai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim Tsigalko couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the game, Samurai's Maxim Tsigalko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Samurai getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Taha Campbell hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Maxim Tsigalko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Maxim Tsigalko notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maxim Tsigalko took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, Maxim Tsigalko notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Germany booed when Samurai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Vassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxim Tsigalko took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Qi in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Samurai were awarded a corner. Allan Bivall went to the cornerflag to take it. Samurai's Allan Bivall was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 47 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Tsigalko came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When Wu Qi came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Samurai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wu Qi couldn't finish the play. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Samurai's Åke Hamnberg was substituted for Hernán Grana. Samurai made a substitution. Timmy Henriksson replaced Wu Qi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 69th minute of play forced Samurai's goalkeeper Vince Di Cola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim Tsigalko in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Maxim Tsigalko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Maxim Tsigalko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 0-6 in the 77 minute of play. A hard shot 79 in the game by Maxim Tsigalko from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. 81 minutes into the game, Germany's Ulrich Stein nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vince Di Cola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Samurai's Abram Cadabra managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chris Mergenthaler in the 83 minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Maxim Tsigalko took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. When Maxim Tsigalko came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Samurai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim Tsigalko couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Chris Mergenthaler in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Samurai's Abram Cadabra. 90 minutes into the match, Maxim Tsigalko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxim Tsigalko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. The audience was convinced that Maxim Tsigalko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
