Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Prosperi was slow to take the kick. During this time ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Rafael Dalmu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 8th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Moura to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Francis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Francis in the 18th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Elpidio Francis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th minute, Elpidio Francis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Oinaz. 29 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski. Branislav Velchevski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 32nd minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Portugal booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Seguinus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Branislav Velchevski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faustino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 minutes, Felipe Barreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portugal and the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felipe Barreto hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Miguel Prosperi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Portugal's Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Francis made a kick off. Wilson Amorim didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. 60 minutes into the match, Elpidio Francis notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elpidio Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Elpidio Francis made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Timoteo Basualdo immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Faustino Almeida got a free kick in the 70th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match, Bartolomeu Dias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Branislav Velchevski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 76th minute of the match. Faustino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Dalmu to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis. But to his dismay, Elpidio Francis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. After 83 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Gabon. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
