Christer Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 26th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Billy Harman in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Annedal FC's Christer Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bruno Bastos hit a great ball. Annedal FC's Luis Bladi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Bladi was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Luis Bladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Luis Bladi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luis Bladi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luis Bladi made a great header on Annedal FC's corner, it was just that Portugal's Wilson Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Annedal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Bladi in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bladi came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luis Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. 88 minutes into the match, Annedal FC's goalkeeper Christer Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Moreira. Rodolfo Miranda made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Annedal FC's Harald Bergman. 94 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Atak Mukerrem came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atak Mukerrem went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Annedal FC.
