The supporters of Hungary booed when Sporting Burgas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cedro Pantoja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bakos Endre hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Takacs Tibor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Perpiñán having to make a save. Álvaro Perpiñán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Sporting Burgas getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Miroslaw Piglowski hit a great ball. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Fioriti struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Burgas. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Antonio Fioriti made the kick off in the second half. Bakos Endre made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Takacs Tibor however managed to control. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Álvaro Perpiñán. That made the score 2-1 in the 57 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Szekeres Tamas got a free kick in the 60th minute. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Álvaro Perpiñán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Álvaro Perpiñán in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Álvaro Perpiñán was a little too slow when Balazs Lajos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 2-4. A collision led to Sporting Burgas getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Miroslaw Piglowski hit a great ball. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Burgas from getting a goal against them. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 85th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Antonio Fioriti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the game, Cedro Pantoja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Burgas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sporting Burgas throughout the match.
