The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Running Man's Meng Jian Chang fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Running Man's 孟迅骋 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 孟迅骋 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 曾骏战 took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by 崔建磊 in the 42nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 崔建磊 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Víktor de Godoi got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Meng Jian Chang. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Germany's Linus Schwerner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by 彭迅锋 in the 51 minute of the game. The supporters of Germany booed when Running Man was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mao Yi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Frank Sachs in the 52nd minute really tested 孟迅骋's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 55th minute Meng Jian Chang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that 李城真 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball. 冯迪迅 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute 崔建磊 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, one of Germany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 冯迪迅 shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After having played for 81 minutes, Ulrich Stein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrich Stein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute Meng Jian Chang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孟迅骋 having to interfere. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 冯迪迅, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when 曾骏战 came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. 94 minutes into the match, Running Man's 冯迪迅 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
