David Eikelkamp's late challenge caught a Wariatów Kupa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Eikelkamp helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot by Maciej Ligas from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Arnout Reekers's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Wariatów Kupa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svetomir Kostić didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 12th minute of play forced Wariatów Kupa's goalkeeper Klaas Dejonghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaaf Groeneveldt to maneuver through the defense. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Wariatów Kupa's Osvaldinho Lewandowski in the 18th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Arnout Reekers was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Netherlands through an amazing save. Wariatów Kupa were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ke Xun Yang took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Sochacki in the 25th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaas Dejonghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Maciej Ligas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Zbyszko Kempski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wariatów Kupa's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbyszko Kempski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Bas Tuitert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Dejonghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Lewandowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Osvaldinho Lewandowski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 42nd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaas Dejonghe having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldinho Lewandowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikolaj Sochacki in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ke Xun Yang was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. Ke Xun Yang hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mikolaj Sochacki in the 59 minute of the game. Maciej Ligas hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 66th minute of play forced Wariatów Kupa's goalkeeper Klaas Dejonghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Dejonghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Egbert Nijveldt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wariatów Kupa's Klaas Dejonghe did a great save. Klaas Dejonghe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 73rd minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klaas Dejonghe. Klaas Dejonghe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 82 minutes into the match, Wariatów Kupa's goalkeeper Klaas Dejonghe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. In the 82nd minute, Wim Wilmes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Klaas Dejonghe. The goal made the score 2-2. Mathijn Doctor hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wariatów Kupa's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaas Dejonghe came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaas Dejonghe having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Klaas Dejonghe made a huge save. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wariatów Kupa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Klaas Dejonghe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Sochacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Netherlands players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Wariatów Kupa from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
