Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. 史荣建 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Qu Chuan Xi came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ksawery Andrysiak hit a great ball. 史荣建 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Du Cheng Peng scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队's goalkeeper 史荣建 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. 18 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but 史荣建 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Bas Tuitert. After 20 played minutes, ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队's Filippo Renzetti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnout Reekers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队 reached it. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Du Cheng Peng in the 26th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 史荣建 could save by the left post. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Mello in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filippo Renzetti was slow to take the kick. During this time ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队's players had a chance to rest. Filippo Renzetti's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Arnout Reekers on his right side and into the goal. 34 minutes into the game it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with 史荣建 in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iulian Coidum kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Gustaaf Groeneveldt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 史荣建 made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 47th minute, but 史荣建 got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队 hanging dry this time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Mello was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 史荣建 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Qu Chuan Xi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Coidum didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 史荣建 came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Gilberto Mello tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but 史荣建 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Qu Chuan Xi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Qu Chuan Xi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Qu Chuan Xi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ≮王者归来≯白金龙战队 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
