Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dietbald Munderloh started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Alfredo Mariotti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Nestor Cardozo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Real Piazza 1982 booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Piazza 1982's Dietbald Munderloh. But to his dismay, Dietbald Munderloh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Real Piazza 1982's Dietbald Munderloh dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Lorenzo Balbo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dietbald Munderloh in the 31st minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Dietbald Munderloh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dietbald Munderloh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. Nestor Cardozo took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dietbald Munderloh in the 62nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
