The audience was convinced that Hegedus Henrik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Gummeson was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 43rd minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 46th minute of play forced FC NILS's goalkeeper Tomas Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC NILS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orvar Palm to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Orvar Palm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 57 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of FC NILS's Tomas Gummeson. Tomas Gummeson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 61st minute, but Tomas Gummeson got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving FC NILS hanging dry this time. 62 minutes into the game, Katona Janos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Tomas Gummeson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Gummeson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tomas Gummeson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Antal Valentin scored 1-8 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Gummeson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, FC NILS's Tomas Gummeson got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC NILS's Tomas Gummeson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save FC NILS from getting a goal against them. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Hungary's Takacs Tibor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Gummeson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Antal Valentin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomas Gummeson. That made the score 2-9 after 94 minutes of play. Hungary played a much better game than FC NILS and deserved their victory. The FC NILS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
