Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Manole Frunză made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Rovine Craiova's Jyrki Saarelainen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Rovine Craiova's Manole Frunză in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Frunză in the 10th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Manole Frunză shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rovine Craiova booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Marcu Vârjean came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manole Frunză's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rovine Craiova's Victor Negara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Manole Frunză's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manole Frunză in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jyrki Saarelainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Rovine Craiova were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Victor Negara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Rasialdo. 60 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manole Frunză. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manole Frunză in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Manole Frunză ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Tudorică in the 77th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Manole Frunză sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manole Frunză's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Frunză, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Manole Frunză tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rovine Craiova's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
