With a little luck, Unione Sportiva's Seleykos Sklavenitis got control of the ball when Bertram Svenningsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unione Sportiva's Seleykos Sklavenitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Odysseas Rousses threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Olav Graversen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Seleykos Sklavenitis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lars Steen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seleykos Sklavenitis having to interfere. Seleykos Sklavenitis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match Bertram Svenningsen climbed in front of goal and pressed up 6-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Seleykos Sklavenitis. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Seleykos Sklavenitis. After some careless play in the Unione Sportiva defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seleykos Sklavenitis. The Unione Sportiva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seleykos Sklavenitis should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 45th minute of play forced Unione Sportiva's goalkeeper Seleykos Sklavenitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seleykos Sklavenitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seleykos Sklavenitis was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. 59 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seleykos Sklavenitis. Unione Sportiva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertram Svenningsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Unione Sportiva's Leonidas Maneates was substituted for Akis Kaglantge. Unione Sportiva's Seleykos Sklavenitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 68th minute of play. Seleykos Sklavenitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seleykos Sklavenitis was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 76th minute of play forced Unione Sportiva's goalkeeper Seleykos Sklavenitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Mikkel Wulff notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Unione Sportiva's Seleykos Sklavenitis. Seleykos Sklavenitis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 81 minutes of play, Denmark's Chris Nygaard made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seleykos Sklavenitis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 84 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seleykos Sklavenitis. Seleykos Sklavenitis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seleykos Sklavenitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Bertram Svenningsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 17-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Denmark had played much better football throughout.
