The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Larra was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Diego Larra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Cristiano Ronaldinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Juventud Unida S L's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Larra came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 22 in the game by Jaime Benvide from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. Jaime Benvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Juventud Unida S L's Jaime Benvide got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Jaime Benvide tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jaime Benvide struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventud Unida S L. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Larra having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Mitch Hearn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Ronaldinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. In the 54th minute of the match Jóhannes Skaptason shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Ronaldinho in the 55th minute of play. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Larra having to interfere. Frits Kerselaers's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frits Kerselaers helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Juventud Unida S L getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Frits Kerselaers hit a great ball. A hard shot by Frank Sachs from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Diego Larra's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Ronaldinho in the 83rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
