Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tahsin Elçioğlu in the 3rd minute of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tahsin Elçioğlu in the 14th minute of play. Dan Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. In the 16th minute Tahsin Elçioğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tahsin Elçioğlu in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the game, Kropotkins pojkar's Tahsin Elçioğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Albano Boni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo in the 26th minute of play. Felipe Barreto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Per-Arne Vidman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Per-Arne Vidman having to make a save. In the 35th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Kropotkins pojkar's goalkeeper Per-Arne Vidman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. In the 43rd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kropotkins pojkar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Felipe Barreto scored to the left of an out of position Per-Arne Vidman, making the score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tahsin Elçioğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Kropotkins pojkar's Wilson Amorim threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albano Boni, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kropotkins pojkar's Per-Arne Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tahsin Elçioğlu in the 56th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tahsin Elçioğlu had several of the Portugal's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Wilson Amorim as he didn't even see the shot coming. 60 minutes into the game, Ivar Axelsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Arne Vidman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Per-Arne Vidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 66th minute of the match. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, Kropotkins pojkar's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Per-Arne Vidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. After 79 played minutes Kropotkins pojkar got a freekick which was hit by Albano Boni. In the 84th minute Josef Uggla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipinho Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Arne Vidman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipinho Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Kropotkins pojkar's goal looked a bit too open when Felipinho Amorim came free, but Per-Arne Vidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albano Boni kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 94th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Uggla in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kropotkins pojkar had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
