In the 17th match minute, Black Sails FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Kuhn to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Eric Fisher kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 26th minute, Germany's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Donnie Ragland fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Jimmy Barnard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Sails FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmy Barnard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Sachs was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 34th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Eric Fisher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 51 minutes, Vicente Burns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Sails FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Burns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Germany booed when Black Sails FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominique Polk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Craig Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 56th minute of the match. Craig Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Fisher in the 58th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Velazquez having to interfere. Black Sails FC made a substitution. Adrian Shook replaced Albert Burgess. A collision led to Black Sails FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Vicente Burns hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Germany's Albin Holweck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Craig Velazquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Donnie Ragland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Donnie Ragland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Black Sails FC's Eric Fisher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Black Sails FC's Lance Vann was substituted for Ignacio Kuhn. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Black Sails FC.
