After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Grzegorz Mazurkiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 29th minute of play forced FcBosna No1's goalkeeper Holger Mogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Vestlund in the 30th minute of play. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FcBosna No1's Ernst Vestlund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Holger Mogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Vestlund in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Vestlund was the one to do the kick off. If Ernst Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute Ernst Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the game, FcBosna No1's Ernst Vestlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Willy Stieler in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FcBosna No1's Sven-Åke Åberg. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 66th minute of play forced FcBosna No1's goalkeeper Holger Mogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, FcBosna No1's Ernst Vestlund made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd match minute, FcBosna No1 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Åberg to maneuver through the defense. FcBosna No1's Holger Mogren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save FcBosna No1 from getting a goal against them. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernst Vestlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Vestlund in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FcBosna No1's Sven-Åke Åberg got a free kick in the 96th minute. Many of Germany's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Germany may have spent more time on the ball, but FcBosna No1 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
